Project Report Four (a.k.a ugh)

Well the first dog was a complete bust, it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to, and looked more like a potato than a dog. The head piece was supposed to be shaped differently than it turned out and it made it so I can't use it anymore.......... [heavy breathing and hidden anger intensifies]......... ugh this stinks. I know that this kind of thing brings a new light on the subject, but I'm not going to go through that pain again, that's why I'm going for an easier formula. I tried my best and got NOTHING, NOTHING OTHING THING HING ING NG G. Well I guess the new recipe for the dog I'm bent on making is going to have to wait... as I just vent through these long-winded one track reports and it should serve me well from exploding. If anyone is seeing this other than myself and the teacher supporting me in this project, type in the comments if you've ever had a moment where you just hated yourself for screwing up something important.

Progress Report 3

Image result for cut out and keep sock dog  Over the past week, I had to throw one of the stuffed animals away, misreading instructions is not fun but with my skills, it may work out better with the next one I'm working on. I have finally remade the head for the little dog. What I have to do to make the head is to firstly take a sock, some stuffing, a needle and thread, and a sharp pair of scissors. Then I cut the sock (which is a sock that comes up to your ankle and a little up your leg) into three pieces, one piece that's near the toe, one from the bottom of the foot to the back of the ankle, and from the back ankle up. Then I take the heel to ankle piece and sew one end, and fill it with stuffing, and right as I get done with that end... I run out of thread. Joy is nonexistent as I silently cry tears of frustration as the little potato I made just sits around on my desk. The picture above is what it's supposed to look like, and if you can imagine a baked potato spitting itself out of its burnt skin, then you have my progress. Maybe if this next one doesn't work, I can just start making stress balls. Stress balls for the blind, how does that sound. I'll try my best but, I can't promise success.

progress report 2 (sorry)

It has been a while since I have posted my supposedly once a week updates and I apologize for that. Through out the long and painful hiatus, I've been having to deal with technical problems, google has been a bit of a pain with my account basically shutting down and me having to use a new one, this one, to continue my project. I am continuing my project, but now my posts will be bi-weekly instead of weekly, and all they will do is describe my progress and how I'm doing and maybe some more information on the Seva foundation. I have begun my sewing and with my work so far... I suck... immensely. This won't stop me from me from trying though. As my sock dog comes along, I realize that i forgot to get the buttons for the eyes and will have to catch up with that. The group I'm supporting, Seva, is a group that quote  "Supports community outreach and education programs to spread awareness of available eye care services,".  Sorry for the drought in updates, google can be a snobbish jerk that won't excuse me for mistyping my password and putting up the reading test bar, you know, the one where every word should look like this: potato, but looks like this.

supern         as f  f    d as x c d f asd  c  dg sadf  c

cakuasd aa  df f  324rgsdcrhsyt yu f vd   s   s  fsd f sad   sd  sd f sdf df  sd f s f g gh n h

Which is pretty much,
If 57% of [285,78]- 6467> 18 x+y-21, how many purple dancing bananas in tunics are on the roof? None, because aliens don't eat Texas mix tacos.
A pain to be sure.....................................jerks. c

1st Progress Report

So far in this project, I have collected most of my sources and made my blog. I am still looking for thread and needles, but I have set up the charity I am going to donate to and collected the knowledge to make the dolls I am looking forward to making. I will be donating to the Seva foundation, an organization dedicated to the curing of blindness and other eyesight related diseases, they have already helped many people in many countries across the entire world. If you want to join the cause to give better eyesight to people around the world, you can join the cause. Create some plush animals and sell them, then give the money to the Seva foundation here or you can donate money from your own pocket, purse, or pink piggy bank directly to the organization. Today one dollar can be the difference between a blind and a seeing child. The Seva foundation also has a online video channel, see their amazing work in the video above. Donate to the Seva foundation and help a blind man see ( yes something that was thought to only be done by Jesus Christ is happening today ). Join the cause so no one has to deal with not being able to see great art, or not see their relatives grow up, Donate now.
